I have been to 100's of concerts over the years, but I can honestly say that a few years back in December, that show stood out as My favourite above any I have ever been a part of. Thank You for signing My P-Bass pickguard, The Mighty Mighty Ted signed it too, a keepsake forever (God rest Ye My Great Man), and Davy signed the scratchplate for one of My Tele's. Hi guys, went to Newcastle on Friday 4th, really enjoyed the show, just not sure why 2 guitarists (eg Lizzy) but no / not many harmony pieces, the guy with the beard was superb on blues (even though his sound was low during solos), moving forward, I'd like to suggest maybe 1 guitarist, possibly less of a shredder, (everyone shreds these days) and a guitarist that plays for the fans, more more (like Rory I suppose) as opposed to playing to themselves. Tricky to explain on a test, sorry, still great show, haven't seen Geery sins 1974 Ulster Hall for the best live album of all time Irish tour 74!! Keep going guys. M

Anyway - I live in Jersey now. Had my own 11 piece band an we did pretty well but I kept following your career and I have to tell you this - I'm very proud of you and proud to have gone to school with you. Us Bearnageeha kids did ok right?

It brought an ear to ear grin to my face to come across Gerry still going strong, looking healthy and sounding great. He’s one of the reasons I picked up a bass myself. Love his energy.

I just discovered the YouTube clips with Marcel, I think he did a fantastic job playing Rory’s parts (particularly on Bad Penny and Shadow Play, my two favourites).
